The context of the project emerges almost by chance and from the unconscious. As a child, I would find various objects on the street, bring them to life, and create stories for them through interaction. In this project, I revive that game by finding random objects on the street and connecting them to childhood memories through object association. At the same time, paper, which was the primary material for creating objects in my childhood, complements these finds. An abstract substance made of paper and color becomes the narrative form of the project. From it, imagination, stories, and context are born—a parallel world.
In this project, I aimed to rediscover the delicate boundaries of imagination and retreat into myself during these stressful times. Wars, crises, and personal experiences of immigration have led me to immerse in another reality and remember a time of carefree innocence and the incredible balance of life.
