LINES OF NATURE

My art is based on intuitive lines that gradually transform into color planes. Color emerges from emotions and experiences, particularly from observing colors in the real world, including those found in nature. In the early stages of my artistic journey, nature served as a direct reference for imitating colors, but over time, that connection faded, and art became detached from nature.

Now, I aim to revive this connection by reinterpreting the forms and mechanics of nature rather than replicating external appearances. Each of my works complements the others, with the element of time serving as their foundation.

The foundation of these works is time. Each piece was created at a specific moment, indicated by the number of temporal rings on the canvases. Various objects are associated with these rings: a seashell, a tree, a tortoise shell, and fish scales. These elements were chosen because they enable the measurement of time through the presence of rings, which are then marked on the canvas.
In addition to the canvases, a VR mask was created using a special material that reflects the surrounding nature while accentuating the stark contrast in time with its digital foundation and abstract structure.
In this installation, nature is utilized as a physical object of art, not through imitation but by intentionally altering its function and structure. Instead of merely replicating nature as it is, I aim to reinterpret and deconstruct its forms.
Several objects from different times are used here. A sketch from 2012 and a layer of a 3D pen from the real thing. With the help of materials and lines and their overlay, we get a rethought look at the past, through the prism of the abstract lines of the present. They are natural elements, but from a digital reality.
